Healthy Eating - Cooking with Local Plants

On Thursday 29 August - From 11 am to 2:00 pm (2h workshop + 1h lunch)

Theme: Nutritious gluten-free baking (with legumes!)

Participants will learn how to cook a delicious lunch using local plants. All the recipes will be gluten, lactose and egg-free, vegan and easy to prepare. After a short explanation on the nutritional characteristics of the different ingredients, participants will learn how to use legumes to make their meal more nutritious. At the end of the workshop, participants will have lunch all together on the terrace of the Alliance Française.

Fees: $40 all included. Max 7 people per workshop.

Vittoria Pasca is an Italian nutritionist and healthy food blogger specialized in vegetarian diets. She lives in Suva, where she created Healthy Eating, a business promoting healthy nutrition and lifestyles. 

She likes cooking with local plants and creating nutritious recipes that she shares on her Facebook page “Healthy Eating Fiji”. She combines different ingredients to make sure meals are balanced and nutrients are well absorbed.

She works as a nutritionist and certified Reiki practitioner from Suva Physio Centre.
